Hope put into practice
We believe God has not abandoned the world. The promise of a new earth without suffering or injustice calls us to love people today. Worldwide, the Seventh-day Adventist Church serves through education, healthcare and practical compassion. Here in Greece, that mission begins with the people beside us.
Education for the whole person
The Church’s international education network connects learning with character, physical and spiritual growth, and service. Education shapes how we relate to others as well as preparing us for work. For someone exploring faith in Greece, our Bible studies and Sabbath School provide a place to ask questions, discuss Scripture and grow in understanding.
Health and care with respect
Care encompasses body, mind and spirit. Internationally, the Church also serves through hospitals and healthcare institutions. An emphasis on balance, prevention, movement and rest expresses our respect for life. In everyday life in Greece, we want to encourage a caring approach that respects each person’s choices.

ADRA International: compassion across borders
ADRA is the Adventist Church’s global humanitarian network. ADRA International and national offices work together on humanitarian relief and long-term development. Assistance is based on need, regardless of religion or background. Human dignity comes first: receiving help does not require participation in religious activities.
ADRA Hellas: solidarity in Greece
ADRA Hellas is a Greek humanitarian organisation and a member of the international ADRA network. It brings local understanding together with international experience, offering goods and services to people in need. Its official website provides information about activities, reports and contact details. Visit ADRA Hellas to learn about current opportunities to get involved.
Freedom of belief and conscience for everyone
We uphold each person’s freedom to believe, change their beliefs or follow no religion. The Church advocates religious liberty for people whose beliefs differ from its own. In Greece, with its strong Christian heritage and diverse communities, respectful dialogue needs honesty and room for each individual’s conscience.
Communication that connects people
Hope Channel, the Church’s international television network, shares programmes about faith, health, relationships and community. On this website you can begin Bible studies in Greek at your own pace and connect with a pastor. Digital communication can be a bridge to a personal encounter rather than a replacement for it.
An invitation for everyday life
Service begins with listening: to a lonely neighbour, a family facing difficulties or someone searching for meaning. You do not need every answer to take the first step. Meet a church near you or contact us to discuss how you might participate. We want our faith to be visible in our love for people.
